I've been waiting to see if you were going to turn anonymous comments on. I could have adopted a psuedonym on blogger to comment, but presumed you were deliberately limiting comments.

Thank you for setting up this blog... I have some things I want to say.
I work at Los Alamos and I don't like how my boss treats me. She tells me I have to be at work 9 hours a day since I'm on the 9/80 schedule. She says I need to work my hours.
This isn't fair. I went to school for a long time and got pretty good grades so I could have a job like this. I don't like being treated like a little kid. I'm really smart and I can do my work in a few hours and besides I work better when the TV is going and I can just pop into the kitchen for a beer. This is how I went through graduate school, why do I have to do this any different?
It's just not fair. Some of the guys I work with have been here for years, and they are never in their offices... they are like lab Fellows and stuff and they spend all their time at conferences and in Washington giving testimony and stuff. I never get to go anywhere.
And this drug test thing. I told them for my clearance that I used to smoke pot and drop ecstacy at the clubs and I promised I wouldn't do that anymore... so why do they have to test me? Besides, it's not fair, everyone knows that marijuana is safer than cigarettes and beer! And whose business is it if my lover and I like to put a little coke on eachother and snort it off on the weekends... we never do it during the week. It's not fair.
And they don't pay me very good. I know it is like triple what I got paid to be a graduate student, but I have seen the salaries of these older guys who have been here 20 or 30 years... they like make half again what I do. It's not fair... they are like old and lame and I am young and really smart and I know all the new things about computers. I can write programs without even knowing a computer language and I know how to make web pages real good too. My friends in California, some of them were making like over two hundred thousand until the computer crash. I think I should make that much money too. It's not fair.
